 Robots have a high flexibility and can be excellently used in foundries for finishing castings. There the technical options of the robots should always be considered. SIIF has a long experience in using robots for the following applications:
- Sawing.
- Degating.
- Milling.
- Handling.
- Grinding.
Standard robotized cells have been developed for grinding iron castings, sawing runners and risers of aluminium castings or milling parting lines.
Ideal for low to medium volumes, robotized cells are the perfect applications when trim machines and dies cannot be justified.
