This has been achieved by providing solutions based on new and innovative technology in the engineering field, and by providing committed and reliable after sales service. In doing so we have worked closely with selected international organisations that are world leaders in their particular fields, and also with key partners in local industry. We have represented DISA since 1975 and have been working closely with the most advanced foundries in South Africa since this date! We have represented IDE since 1988 and have been developing deep minining cooling systems for more than 20 years. We consider ourselves to be partners on each project and key to our success over the years has been a commitment to Service, and to the effective Transfer of Technology.
We assist our partners in enabling the equipment and systems supplied by us to be correctly applied, operated and maintained for their full working life. After handover of a system, we continue to contribute time and expertise to ensure the ongoing economic viability of each installation.
Recent Projects A Two Wheel Railroad Wheel Peener manufactured in Burlington, Canada. Which has two 40 Hp wheels capable of peening 30 railway wheels per hour and could handle wheels from 840mm diameter up to a diameter of 1020mm.. Client: Scaw Metals
A Three Wheel Hanger Machine made by Pangborn Europe, part of Wheelabrator at the time of supply. (for cleaning Bed Plates or other castings) Capable of cleaning 500+ bedplates per hour. Client: Halberg Guss
Two identical Four Wheel, Plate and Section Descalers – Schlick RB1500, capable of processing product up to 1500mm wide and 500mm high at speeds up to 3m per minute.
Client: Tubular Structural Engineering, Witbank An Eight Wheel Schlick Mono Rail Machine for descaling ‘bull bars’ , tow bars and roll bars.
Client: Bosal Plant 4, Waltloo, Pretoria Three VIM Ice Makers providing 850 Tons each per day, bringing the total installation to 7 650 Tons per day, in nine units of 850 Tons.
